Spring Summer 2019 fashion trends you need to know

2019 SPRING SUMMER TRENDS  are definitely giving me a 90's vibe!

when I think of the 90’s one of the first things that come to mind other than great music, is it’s super fabulous fashion.   Colour  blocking and Hypercolour neons ruled, from the high fashion  couture runways to street wears

Jellie sandals, crop tops , tie dyes,  bucket hats and biker shorts will be on the scene this season, not to mention the ever so sexy Leopard print which fashioned the 1990's cover of Harper’s Bazaar draped on one of the fiercest women of all time

Cindy Crawford!

1. Tie dyeAs seen on the catwalks at R13 and Prabal,

2. Crochet: Crochet was spotted at Oscar de la Renta, Victoria Beckham and JW Anderson - all in monochrome.

3. Animal print:

from Nicole Miller to Tom Ford, animal prints continued to rock the catwalks. Leopard prints transform any fashionista into a total goddess, I just love injecting it randomly into any ensemble for an extra edgy look!

4. Bucket hats

we'll be rocking a lot of hats!  From the bizarre at Louis Vuitton, to the velvety delights at Anna Sui the runways brought new life to the 90's inspired bucket hat.

.5 Colour-blocking:

Music in both the 80's and 90's was primarily responsible for the continuation of color blocking it began appearing in bright patch worked jackets or contrasting colored accessories.

.6 Biker Shorts:

from  Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell and to Mr Motivator, the 90's fashion item once banished to be forever forgotten along with LA Gears and Baby-Gs – are back and bolder than ever! they were found at Chanel, but Stella McCartney's gave them new life for 2019 with an explosion of florals. Prints were also found at Prada,  they are truly a bonafide trend this Spring and Summer.

7. YellowYellow emerged as the top color trend on the spring 2019 runways during New York Fashion Week. Yellow is the most luminous color on the spectrum, it is said to offers mankind feelings of happiness and hope.

9. Fringing: from Tom Ford, or sequins a la Gucci, if something isn't swooshing when you walk next season, then you're not doing it right.
